The Active Peers AI platform supported an immersive two-week financial markets internship for young people ranging from those who had just finished their Leaving Certificate and A-levels through to postgraduate students.

The programme combined technical learning with group projects, public speaking, feedback and daily reflection. Through the Active Peers AI app, participants identified what they wanted to gain from the experience at the outset, with these goals matched to best-practice approaches.

Daily stand-ups encouraged students to reflect on how they were progressing towards their goals and consider how they could approach the following day differently.

Active Peers AI provided the digital infrastructure, instructional design and structured environment that supported the internship, helping create the conditions for students to take ownership of their development and thrive throughout the experience. The approach contributed to visible progress in confidence, public speaking, career clarity and students’ hunger and curiosity for feedback.
